Shipping Setup Overview

Choose the setup below that resembles the shipping options you would like to implement.

Note on electronic delivery or other non-shippable items! If you are selling items that may be downloaded (such as software), or that aren't shipped (such as services or memberships), along with items that are physically shipped (or mailed), follow the first set of instructions below for setting up the physical shipping costs. Then click on the "Electronic Delivery" link and choose the scenario which best describes your situation. If you are selling only items that are not shipped, skip to the "Free Shipping & No Shipping" section now.

Note on oversize/overweight/hazardous packages! You may specify a single alternate carrier for Domestic shipments (if not using "Ship Based On Order Total" as the shipping method for Domestic shipments), and a single alternate carrier for International shipments (if not using "Ship Based On Order Total" as the shipping method for International shipments). Any item that is not within your default carrier's weight limit, size limit, or is otherwise restricted from being shipped by that carrier may be set to ship by this option. You may also apply a Domestic rate and an International rate to each item using this alternate shipping method. For the remainder of this document, we will refer to this as the "Freight Shipping Option".

If your items are physically shipped or mailed...

  1. Ship using UPS Online® Tools to get real time shipping charges. This option may be used only if your Home Country is supported by UPS Online® Tools and no items being shipped by UPS will weigh more than 150 pounds, (70 Kg) or exceed 130 inches (30 cm) when adding Length + (Width X 2) + (Height X 2). No side may be longer than 108 inches (270 cm). UPS does NOT ship to APO/FPO addresses.
  2. Ship using US Postal Service Web Tools to get real time shipping charges. This option may be used only if your Home Country is US and no package exceeds the following size and weight restrictions.
    Max. length 46", width 35", height 46" and max. length plus girth 108"
    Max. weight 70 lb.
  3. Ship using any carrier, using your own calculations to set shipping costs (based on weight), or set a flat "Per Order" rate for shipping costs.
  4. A single rate, or Free shipping, to everywhere using a single shipping option.
  5. Ship using any carrier, and set a flat "Per Item" rate with different items costing different amounts to ship. Not based on actual weight.
  6. Ship based on total amount of order or number of items ordered.
  7. Drop Ship, calculating the shipping after receipt of the order. You cannot use real time credit card processing with this option.
  8. Ship using any carrier, and set a flat "Per Package" rate with each package costing the same to ship..

Note that if you choose to use item 8 for Domestic shipments, you must use either item 6, 7 or 8 for International shipments, and vice-versa.
