Free Shipping & No Shipping Setup

1. Enter administration, click on the Store Setup button in the Black Menu, scroll to the Shipping section, and click the Edit link.
2. Charge For Shipping: Check "No".
3. Shipping Company/Method: Several options here. The first 2 options WILL NOT require the customer to enter a shipping/mailing address.
   • If your items do not require shipping (you DO NOT need to capture a shipping/mailing address) and you have ANY ITEMS THAT ARE NOT delivered through electronic delivery (downloaded), enter "N/A", exactly like that, without the quotes.
   • If ALL OF YOUR ITEMS are delivered through electronic delivery (download), enter "Download", exactly, without the quotes. Then open Application.cfm, look for the attributes.edelivery variables, and make sure it is empty...

   • If you will actually be shipping or mailing your items, and need a mailing address, and would like to display the shipping method to your customers, enter that here. This could be UPS, Federal Express, etc. This will apply to orders worldwide, so if you are shipping international, and want to charge for international orders, you will have to set Charge For Shippin to "Yes", go back to the Paid Setup section, and foolow the instructions for giving a free domestic shipping option. Otherwise, you may disable international shipping (Ship To Foreign Countries = "No"). Of course, you CAN ship international for free if you wish.
4. Handling Charge: Even though this is under the Free Shipping section, if you DO ENTER a value here, the customer will be charged that amount for shipping. Note that the additional handling charge that you may set on countries will be ignored.
5. Ship To Foreign Countries: Check "No" if you wish to ship orders only domestically. Otherwise, shipping will be available to all valid Billing/Shipping countries that you should have setup in the Initial Administration Settings portion of this document.
6. Ship To Different Address: Check "No" to use customer's billing address as shipping address. When used in conjunction with AVS, this will reduce the chance of Fraud and may be wise if you are selling high value items.
7. Everything after this will be ignored.
8. Click the Edit Shippng Setup button and you are done.
